Hotel Reservations UPDATE: 9:00pm, 6/24

The initial block of rooms for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is now SOLD OUT.  We are in the process of adding more rooms, but this is proving to be more complicated than we anticipated.  

IF YOU HAVE NOT YET MADE A RESERVATION:  You will soon receive a very brief questionnaire via email, which we need you to complete as soon as possible.  We need to obtain an accurate count of registrants who do not have hotel reservations and are not staying with someone else or at a different hotel. Please help us help you by completing the questionnaire quickly.

  • IF YOU RESERVED FOR THE PEAK NIGHTS OF THURSDAY, FRIDAY, AND SATURDAY:  Initially, the hotel is using a system of codes to align reservations with AGM registrants' activity agendas. Beginning on June 25, codes will be sent via email enabling recipients to make reservations for additional nights, depending on the activities they registered for. For example, if you are registered for a tour leaving on Wednesday morning, you'll receive a code enabling you to book Tuesday night. (The dispatch of the code emails is slightly delayed because we've been working to secure more rooms overall.)
  • As "code" emails are sent out, an update will be placed on the AGM Update Center to identify which tour/activity groups have been sent the codes.  If your group is listed but you haven't received the email, first look in your junk mail/spam folder, then email jasnaconferencedir@gmail.com.
  • Once priority needs are taken care of through the code system, the remaining rooms/nights will be available for general sale to all AGM attendees.  If you have multiple reservations as a result of the code system, the hotel's reservations agent will take care of combining them for you.

We know it would be more convenient to make one reservation now for your whole stay and be done with it, but we're hoping the hotel's code system will prevent some of the difficulty that many of us dealt with last year. Be assured JASNA has a very large room block, and has already asked for additional rooms on extended nights, based on the strong opening of AGM registration.

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR ROOM (WHEN AVAILABLE)

  • Go to the AGM Hotel webpage (clickable link) and review information on rates and policies. On that page, click the RESERVE A ROOM button.  Alternatively, you can paste the following address in your browser:   https://book.passkey.com/go/JASNA2026  The link will not work before that time.
  • On the Marriott welcome page (with the mountain photo), click the white box and select "Attendee."
  • On the next screen, enter your dates -- for now, no more than October 29 through October 31 -- in the boxes at the top of the page, your number of guests, and click SEARCH.  It appears that only one room can be booked at a time; for multiple rooms, you will have to start over for the second one.
  • The next screen will show available rooms. Two room types are offered at the basic JASNA rate of $277 ($259 + $18 resort fee).  These room types are Standard Resort Guest Room - Run of House, and Standard Resort Guest Room - 2 Queens.  2 Queens guarantees you 2 Queen beds. The Run of House category could be either King or 2 Queens, assigned at check-in.  If you want a guaranteed King bed, that is available among the room upgrades that appear lower down on the form.
  • Click the SELECT button for the room type you want. View your reservation summary at the right of the page, then click NEXT.  Follow the prompts to complete your reservation.  One night's fee will be taken as a deposit.
  • At the opening of reservations, a handful of people reported that the system would not allow booking of the third night.  Currently, there is availability for all three nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday).  If you're not able to select one of these nights, you can try again using a different browser, or call central reservations at 888-527-8989.
  • Note that JASNA does not make reservations for AGM attendees and does not work with any third-party booking agents to do so.  If you are contacted by anyone offering to make your room reservation, please consider it fraudulent.
